Acupuncture uses the insertion of extremely fine needles into the skin at specific acupoints. This may relieve pain by releasing endorphins, the body's natural pain-killing chemicals by affecting the part of the brain that governs serotonin, a brain chemical involved with mood.

Acupuncture has been recognized for a long time as an effective treatment for chronic pain. In a more recent study from 2017 from the Archives of Internal Medicine it indicates from roughly 18,000 people with chronic pain all compared genuine acupuncture and placebo (sham) acupuncture and found that pain relief was had of 50% or  more on a 100 point scale.

I use Japanese Acupuncture needles (brand:Seirin) moxibustion, and a heat lamp during my treatments. Treatments include:First treatment with initial consult and a one-sided treatment, 2nd tx. and all others after would include: feedback then a front & back treatment.
